CDC ends VSAFE website for vaccine after-effects reporting, page now reads 'Thank you
Quote:Earlier this summer, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stopped collecting data on the adverse effects of Covid-19 vaccines through the agency’s V-safe website.
Now, rather than displaying data collected from the mRNA vaccine, users are redirected to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) website for adverse event reporting, and the CDC’s V-safe website now reads, “Thank you for your participation. Data collection for COVID-19 vaccines concluded on June 30, 2023.”
Brownstone Institute Fellow Dr. David Gortler, who was formerly a senior official at the FDA, first noticed the change and asked, “Does this mean that the CDC believes that the mRNA Covid-19 injections are so safe, there is no need to monitor adverse event reports any longer? What is the argument against continued monitoring, especially since the V-safe website was already up and paid for?”
Gortler cited the FDA’s VAERS database to show that since the vaccines were introduced to the public in 2021, the mRNA injections are allegedly the number one cause of more than 1.5 million adverse event reports, including heart attacks in the US as well as myocarditis and pericarditis.
He also noted that, according to a Harvard study funded by the FDA, the VAERS reports are less than 1 percent of vaccine-related adverse events that actually happen.
Gortler shared a screenshot from the V-safe Covid Vaccine Adverse Health Impacts dashboard before the database was removed by the CDC which stated that more than 6.4 million people were affected out of 10.1 million users, including roughly 2 million who were “unable to conduct normal activities of daily living or needing medical care.”
Gortler added, “Will the CDC opine on the existing data or justify its halting of collecting new safety data? To the best of my knowledge, stopping the collection of public health information doesn’t have a clinical justification or scientific precedence — especially when it comes to an actively marketed product.”
He continued, “In George Orwell’s 1984, characters were told by The Party to ‘reject the evidence of your eyes and ears.’ Now, the CDC isn’t even allowing that evidence to be collected for viewing (and prospective rejecting). It’s a terrible idea for any product, let alone novel mRNA technologies.”
Despite the new revelations, President Joe Biden said on Friday that he had signed off on a proposal to Congress for additional funds to develop a new COVID-19 vaccine "...that is needed, that's necessary, that works" and will "likely be recommended that everybody get it."
Last week CNN told its audience, "If you’re at high risk of serious illness or death from COVID-19, it’s time to dust off those N95 masks and place them snugly over your nose and mouth to protect yourself from a recent uptick of the virus."
Some institutions such as Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, have begun to require students and faculty to wear masks while on campus as "precautionary steps" while Lionsgate studios issued a mask mandate

The stupidity, it hurts.
They shut it down because they're developing a new version of it.
Quote:On May 19, 2023, CDC closed enrollment in v-safe for COVID-19 vaccines. V-safe was developed specifically for COVID-19 vaccines and has been an essential component of the pandemic vaccine safety monitoring systems that have successfully characterized the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines used in the United States. CDC is developing a new version of v-safe which will allow users to share their post-vaccination experiences with new vaccines.
CDC will continue to monitor the safety of COVID-19 vaccines through its other vaccine safety monitoring systems. V-safe users or others who get vaccinated can report any possible health problems or adverse events following vaccination to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

You can STILL report the very same problems via VAERS until the new version is available.
