SEC will add:
FSU + Clemson
UNC + NC State
UVA + Va Tech
Duke + Ga Tech + WVU

B1G will add:
Stanford + Cal
Kansas + Mizzou
Notre Dame + Miami

So you would want your school in the Big Ten but you would not want Florida State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia, or Virginia Tech in the Big Ten with you and you'd rather have four schools west of the Mississippi and the nearest school geographically to you be Maryland? I mean if all those Atlantic schools are in the SEC, why not just put Miami in the SEC with them?

This would be like me wanting to put Penn State in the old Pac 12 and not bring Ohio State or Pittsburgh or any nearby schools.
