My father in law is a huge VT fan and he might not want to watch the game with me. He's 1-2 in games we've watched together. =] One of those being in person in our first win. He took it like a champ.

I think you need to just show up to his house right before kickoff with some beer in tow. We need as much luck as we can get. Might I suggest the new ODU beer.

I'll be at a cookout that day but best believe it'll be shown on tv.

It’s all over the Southside. Apparently all Harris Teeters and Food Lions on the Southside, as well as Total Wine, got it. But I can confirm Harris Teeter in Ghent had a bunch today. New Realm has a beer finder on their website if you want to check before you go;

Was at my granddaughter’s 1st birthday party in Great Bridge this weekend. Stopped in at the Harris Teeter there. Wanted to get some for my son. Nope did not have any there.

hah, I would but we're watching it over at a friends place for his birthday. He's a huge Sooner fan (he's from OK) so I'll be forcing him to watch a lowly G5 game for his bday. =]

Not that I can make it, but I like the idea of one main place to watch the away games.

Wish they had announced this earlier, I may have made the trek from MD for this. Oh well, see everyone at the home opener. I'll be the one in the ODU hat

I have to say the ODU event at New Realm was maybe the best ODU event I have ever seen put together as an off-campus event. Great turnout of fans. Really nice setting. Big Screen/Speakers carried the game visually and audibly in a very nice way. Well done.

Great to hear. Fan participation and a great venue both help create buzz (so does winning)

Sounds like a great time. If I lived closer I would have liked to have been there. Glad it was well done. Things like that generate excitement and win over casual fans.

Love this - I was going to post and ask about it. We had people over or would have gone ourselves.

Also, I was finally able to try the golden ale - I actually liked it! Reminds me of a Bells Oberon
