I like the ACC jumping to 20 with Cincinnati and WVU, than break off into 2 divisions of 10. The big 12 could add Memphis and USF to get back to 16, maybe jump to 18-20 with Gonzaga, San Diego state, Oregon state and Tulane

Yeah .... I think the additions of Stanford, Cal and SMU have cemented the already pretty tightly closed door shut to Memphis joining the ACC. And frankly, I'm cool with that.

I think that the door is still slightly ajar for USF to join ... especially given these new additions.

USF is AAU -- why wouldn't they be acceptable?

The door is slightly ajar for them .... meaning -- they can still get through .... meaning -- they WOULD be acceptable, especially to the new additions.

But the door isn't wide open for them. Some current members wouldn't be all that pumped to see USF joining the conference.

It would be a tremendous middle finger to FSU. As funny as that may seem, I’m not sure I’m there yet. New stadium is supposed to open in 2026 though.
