Maybe they will still have the Victor E. Pub together with this new lounge. Or, maybe they will be next to each other. Who knows how their minds work (or don't work)?

Said it before, will say it again. STF and his troupe look at anything and think, "Monetize!" Sooner or later, that's what happens to any good idea that comes their way. A popular Pub isn't fans enjoying themselves. It's money they haven't got yet.

BTW, CollegeMan33, there was a post here on June 22 that the A.dept. was asking for people to join the advisory board.

I asked the question today. The open to the public pub will still remain. How exactly things will be setup are still being worked out. The $100 for the season will get you food and a drink ticket.

That is good (Victor E Pub remaining). Even though I don't hang out there and don't always purchase something when I go (depending on who I'm with), it's a nice spot to have.

As for the $100 food and drink ticket. My only question is....will it be a hot dog?

No, I just assumed those were arrangements Monty made that were leftover contracts.

Wiu released their schedule and they have 4 non D1 home games. Not just a NIU issue.

Per "blogging the Bracket" we will play host Georgia State on Fri 11/17 and Ark Little Rock on Sat 11/18. Times TBD. Hope to drive over to see both games.

And upon a closer read, I see why your confused. pantone said we play "host" Georgia State.

Not...we host Georgia State. GSU is the host of the tournament and all games are in Atlanta.

Actually I was going to delete my post after re-reading pantone's, but I got busy with a talk with someone who's potential problems are bigger than mine. Consider it a non-post.

It will be interesting how we match up with ALR this time around since 2021 when we lost to them in the Jacksonville Tourney in Coach Burno"s first year.
