Point of order: I don't think presidents belong in any of these situations. All they do is take resources away from the people who need it. It's 2023, they can get all the data and information they need without being on the ground. They're ridiculous photo ops and the people who ***** when they don't go and when they do go are equally ridiculous. Just like all the moronic calls for him or the VP to physically visit the border and stare at a wall and some sand.

I totally disagree. If the entire goal is a photo op then yes, that's insanely stupid. Reminds me of when AOC visited the border and cried at a wall so it could be a magazine cover the next week.

POTUS/VP's need to visit a crisis to get first hand knowledge of what the damage is and what the people need. You can have additional channels to gather information, but when President's are vacationing or playing golf, showing up for a couple days to a crisis seems like a much better use of time.

I'd rather have lots of people in that office other than Biden. But the GOP running and electing trump left me with no choice.

Actually I do acknowledge there's those on the left who do similar things. But c'mon man. There's never been ANYTHING in the history of America that even remotely equates the way trumps cult is all-in. FFS, all the flags, hats, signs, stickers, etc. is unprecedented.

You’re entirely too focused on the fanfare of trump supporters. There are millions that voted for him who aren’t like that at all, but are put off by the hypocrisy of those on the left.

If you aren’t going to call out the BS cult behavior (which does exist) then it’s no different from the red hat wearing guys on the right. It all looks the same.

You can certainly do whatever you want, but I’m just offering tips on how to be more effective in your posts. Because there is substance there, but it gets sidetracked with the anti Trump bias that you have.

And regarding the second part, I'd agree except for his administration denied there was a problem, something they could not do if they actually set eyes on it.
