January 6th "proud" boy runs away
Now wanted by the FBI. His picture name and age are at the link for those interested in whatever reward that might be offered. I'm sure he'll be able to hide out for a while but sooner than later we'll hear about him being cornered in an abandoned house somewhere before he takes his own life. Or he'll try to flee to Belarus or Russia if he can find some way to get over there.

You can probably find him in a cubicle in the J Edgar Hoover FBI building in Washington.

More likely he's got a boombox outside of Mar-A-Lago begging orange daddy to save him

The Jan6th people were treated so fairly and reasonably by the DOJ. I cant imagine why they might run. These are the same fools that think their catch and release illegal immigrants are going to show up for their court date a year or two from now.

The J6 mopes have been treated MORE than fairly for the most part. I believe the vast majority of them took deals and pleas.

How lenient and kind should we treat people who break into Congress, exactly?

still is the people's house. You just have to go through a security screening to enter it.

How lenient were we to the BLM rioters on the White House grounds or in Portland? They trespassed and rioted. Treat them the same as we do other rioters and trespassers. I know this seems odd and foriegn to you---but we dont have one set of very lenient punishments for Democrats and one set of very heavy handed punishments for Conservatives accused of the same crime. I have no issue with people who struck police officers reciving stiff sentences. I do have an issue with few if any BLM protestors facing any punishment for assaulting and injuring literally HUNDREDS of law enforcement officers in the White House grounds during the summer of 2020 riots there.

Yeah, you go visit your congress person and they give you a free ticket. You normally don't have to slam a police riot shield through one of the windows. 04-chairshot

Well is it really a break in if the cops held the doors and waved them in?

Just go down and blend in with the masses at the southern border. No one will ever ask who he is there and he'll get a free cell phone to boot.

As lenient and kind as we are to anyone else.

As to 'taking deals and please' somehow representing 'fairness'... if your choices are that we prosecute you for sedition which I believe is 20 years max... or you plea out and get two... that doesn't mean that these offers were 'fair'. Fair is compared to 'other in similar situations'. Those who stormed the federal buildings in Portland (iirc) and then looted blocks of city streets for weeks were bailed out by congressmen and then the government 'declined to prosecute'.

What did they give to Ray Epps?

How many of the rioters did they prosecute that literally firebombed the White House injuring countless police and secret service agents?

Would that number be very close to Zero? I think it was.

It is two tiered justice, and anyone that argues this is a disingenuous commie.

Actually, you don't recall correctly. Most weren't prosecuted because they weren't all that serious...and the city doesn't have the resources the federal government has.

Quote:Interfering with a peace officer is the most common charge, followed by disorderly conduct. Both essentially boil down to ignoring an officer’s order or being in the street, according to Juan Chavez, director of the civil rights project at the Oregon Justice Resource Center, which has been involved in several protest-related suits.

“Being in the street is central to people’s speech rights fundamentally and that’s been recognized time and time again,” Chavez said, adding that non-violent crimes account for “99% of the conduct” at protests.
Policing Portland’s protests: 1,000 arrests, handful of prosecutions

And yes, future VP Harris tweeted support for a group in Minnesota that helped defendants. But that group hardly contributed at all to getting anyone out of jail as most were either released quickly and/or had bail amounts around $100.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/...rotestors/

J6 boils down to a case of FAFO, sorry, not sorry.

But yeah...stick with Ray Epps causing the whole thing and the CP letting everyone in with a friendly wave a handshake, while ignoring the breaking windows and assaulting cops with myriad objects. Amazing that all of them didn't get acquitted on all charges with that no brainer defense. 07-coffee3

When exactly did that happen, 1814?

Meanwhile, what actually resulted from the protests...

Quote:The AP found that more than 120 defendants across the United States have pleaded guilty or were convicted at trial of federal crimes including rioting, arson and conspiracy. More than 70 defendants who’ve been sentenced so far have gotten an average of about 27 months behind bars. At least 10 received prison terms of five years or more.
Records rebut claims of unequal treatment of Jan. 6 rioters
