Ratdog on the Falcons
Ratdog on the Falcons.
Wish we'd have had him for his whole career, he would have put some numbers up.

RE: Ratdog on the Falcons
Report out of Atlanta was that they really liked him and he graded out highly in his play. They went with the 10 year veteran since he knew the offense. Hope this means he makes the practice squad today.

He can definitely ball, but he plays a truly undervalued position...almost non existent in the modern NFL.

Hope he gets another chance

RE: Ratdog on the Falcons
In the 3 preseason games he was only used as a FB a handful of times each game and as an upback on KOR a couple times. That was it. For a guy that is basically a undersized FB/below avg athleticism RB/H Back, he would have to be able to contribute significantly on SPT to have any shot at making a roster...and it didn't seem like he really got a shot at that in ATL. At least not in the games anyways. Maybe he did get a lot of work in practices and it didn't go well hence the lack of opportunity in the games?? Don't know.

Yeah, on NFL rosters, that type of role has to be great on special teams as well.
