Ok, enough of this realignment crap. Let's talk about things "on the field".

Just for discussion, because I know pre-season rankings mean absolutely nothing, but 247 ranked all the starting QB's in the P5. 1-69.

https://247sports.com/longformarticle/co...1/#2211155

Like the pre-season polls, it will be interesting to re-visit this list at the end of the season.

Spoiler: Emory Jones is at #61. (Ben Bryant checks in at #54)

This is in fact, not correct. Preseason rankings are huge. It is much much harder to climb up the polls than it is to fall in the polls. Let's use Utah as an example who is preseason ranked 14th. Even if they go undefeated they have to hope for losses from 10 of the 13 teams above them to get a shot at the CFP. And even then it might not be enough if a 1-loss SEC team like Georgia or Bama has their only loss be to an undefeated SEC team.

UC's 2021 CFP birth was dramatically helped by starting the season 8th. Even with that and being the only undefeated team, it still took a last second loss by Ok St in the final week for us to get in.

Then there's the exposure and fan support you get from being ranked.

That's too bad. The Louise-ville blowhards have been flapping their yaps pretty loud that Satt was the cause of all their grief and Brahm was going to take them to ACC nirvana.

You can see the Sean Lewis influence on the Colorado offense. Hell of an opening drive.

I think CO is going to be a great conference foe by next season and it's a terrific road trip. Beats our past visits to such destinations as Greenville and Hattiesburg. 04-cheers

James White just had a tweet featured on the Fox halftime show as an example of a "prominent athlete" tweeting in favor of Coach Prime lol

The fact that so many were so against him as an option here is just sad...anyone who watched Kent State under him knew the dude is an offensive genius.

Legit question...is TCU's defense just horse dookie or are there 3 legit Heisman candidates in this Colorado Offense?

Satt is looking good early, but man I think Prime here would have been ground breaking here.

Is there a team in the country that benefits more from playing in a conference full of dumb coaches more than O$U?

It was never going to happen regardless of how good of a hire it would have been...should be laid to rest.

Solid 6 YPA for Mordecai...that checks out.

They also took a delay penalty on 4th and 2 from the Buffalo 42 in order to punt...******* I miss Tressel ball.
