Yes, it’s singular. I prefer Huskies as that’s what the teams are called, but that’s just my preference. It looks great.

It says Huskie on one side and the other side said Nation but that has been painted over. I don’t know the reason for the nation side being painted over. It looks great hopefully people won’t write crap on it

One of the best things they have done in a while. Pipe dream, but if they could just get some developer to buy the apartments next to the railroad and demo into more modern upscale, NIU would really be making progress.

Seems logical that an intro to NIU and DeKalb would be on the inbound (northbound) side. Anyway, I'll see it when/if I go by there.

I wonder if/what they'll be painting on the other side. Just the word "HUSKIE" on one side doesn't look so great. "COUNTRY" would look good. If they did have "NATION" on the other side, I wonder why they removed it.

The center is a wall that greatly reduces visibilty if someone is trying to "read" both sides. Makes no sense to add "Country" or "Nation" on the west wall as a phrase to read paired with "Huskie on the east side. They could put the second word underneath "Huskie" on both sides. "Huskie" by itself on either side makes no sense.

However, suggestions are not meant to trash a good thing like this. Nice to see an NIU-DeKalb effort.

I think they should add all of our board names on the other side as Huskie fans. There is plenty of room to do that and a lot more.
