Yormark is commissioner of the century
Hands down, not even close. Sankey is quite good, but he was dealt a royal flush.

Royal Flush? No, he had a three-of-a-kind at best and bluffed his way to a big jackpot.

Still deserves the award.

Jim is inquiring ESPN to see what we can get for adding PAC-12 schools. Meanwhile the B1G and B12 have gobbled up 8 of 12.

It doesn't really matter to me. If we couldn't get Oregon and Washington, I didn't want any of the other P12 schools.

I would kill for him to be a little aggressive though. Everything we do in this conference seems so reactionary and overly cautious (400 year GOR)

Sensei Swofford

End of discussion.

Now let's get back to watching the Greater Greensboro Open.

That nimrod couldn't negotiate his way out of a wet paper bag. He also screwed the conference with the Raycom deal to make sure his son had a cushy job. He gives Larry Scott a run for the money. May he sit ona fire ant hill.

You know I won’t mind having Yormark as the ACC commisioner.

I thought you didn’t want UConn in the conference?

I actually don’t dislike UConn unlike many ACC fans although I found UConn fans are as defensive and sensitive as Cincy fans (and they don’t seem to like each other lol).

I just don’t think UConn would get enough votes. But Teel mentioned UConn in his article so maybe it has a better chance than I thought.

These takes are kind of cute. It's extremely unlikely that Mr Swofford's son needs a 'job.' More likely he could stay at home on the cushy sofa and live off his parents' groceries through the year 2525.

Brett Yormark, commissioner of the century, brings world conquest to the sports fans of Flyover Country. (Pictured here with the ADs of Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Arizona State)

Just as likely Yormark goes down in history as one of the guys who destroyed college football.

Raycom was likely to go under had they not been gifted with a piece of the ACC rights. Swofford insisted on this even though it was less money in an effort to boost exposure. The duration of that awful decision also delayed the ACC network startup, if I remember correctly. Coincidentally, Chad Swofford was working for Raycom at the time. I have issues with that.

That is just one of Swofford's terrible decisions that set us back for years.

Raycom was a bad decision in hindsight (and the element of nepotism makes it easy to point the finger at Swofford). However, it's not even close to being the WORST decision, TV-wise. That "honor" goes to the length of the original contract with ESPN back in 2010. When I heard it announced as I was driving to work, I literelly YELLED at my car radio - it was obviously TOO LONG (given how little it paid because of ACC football being "down" at the time).

You don't lock in a long-term deal when you are negotiating from a position of weakness -- you make it as short as possible! That falls on the school presidents at the time -- they wanted to 'close the gap' with the SEC in the short-term, even if it meant selling long-term rights away. BAD DECISION! If they had only exercised a little patience, the ACC could be in MUCH better financial shape.

Just my 2 cents.

That’s a great picture but it’s actually the AD’s of Stanford, Cal - Berkeley, USC, UCLA and Cal - Santa Cruz 03-lmfao
