Well Brett McMurphy even believed it was possible. This board has missed a whole host of tweets this morning.

Some of it may have come from UW and Oregon to get the Big 10 to move quicker.

Thats what I think. Its basically the same happy talk we've been treated to for over a year with respect to the media negotiations. Despite this mornings tweets---common sense always said nobody with real options was signing a GOR for that Apple deal.

That said, it is looking like a substantial rump will still be left. A rump of Stanford, Cal, OSU, and WSU will have no problem reconstituting the Pac12 with the best of the MW along with a few select western AAC schools.
