Nice guy, good for him. "Respectful persistence." I did this with the Palestra in Philly in 2008. I wanted to check out the gym and there was a door open for construction workers. I walked around the gym taking photos and expected people to check out my casual wear and shoo me out, but they never did.

“I still haven’t gone to Western Michigan because I feel like, as an alumni there, we should make that video kind of special and do it right,” he said. “I’ve been trying to get in contact with Western Michigan to make it maybe a bigger deal than the rest of the videos I’ve done so I can get some extra exposure for the place I got a degree from. If anyone from Western Michigan really wants to do something cool and work with me, I am raising my hand to come over there whenever you need me to make that happen.”

Also gets props from me for including Eastern Michigan & other MAC schools, many of our alumni refuse to even recognize the G5 as D1 FBS.

“I think that Eastern Michigan was my favorite in terms of just like the grind that I had to get through to get in there,” Gfed said. “I think just the story that that one told and the journey it took me on, was really, really awesome.”

Yeah, we wish he was a die-hard, WMU only like us, but reality is most fans of P5 schools tend to have affairs w/ other teams too. My guess is this guy follows our team(s) as well

At least he had a WMU flag in the background and he was going to make his WMU visit "special". Coincidentally, we did this when we visited Notre Dame back in the day. It was very cool to see the field when you haven't attended a game there.

Understood. Yeah, that doesn't really bother me anymore. If you're attending a K-12 school in Michigan you are either in the Michigan or Michigan State camp. Unfortunately for my kids, they were the odd person out wearing WMU gear! LOL!
