Would he have the same problem getting admitted to Memphis? And if he could get in, I guess it would be for the spring semester only and not practicing with the team until then?

Interesting piece to know with Memphis admission. Memphis has an accelerated studies program with an enrollment date in October. Only three universities in the US offer this.
