When the neers had that trio they were really good, but then Rich Rodriguez left and Morgantown success has been much like that in Boulder, except that the Mountaineers continued to play good basketball for a while after that.
I'm not sure why so many on this forum are so mesmerized by the Buffaloes. They did have a really good stretch back in the lawless days of the NCAA, with Eric Bieniemy at RB, and with Chancy Billups in BB, but that was soooo long ago.

In short, Big 12 history, geographic sense, the city of Denver and what a possibly successful CU team might mean for that, as well as the guarantee that the inclusion of CU means movement is finally happening, which is a relief by itself if we're being honest.
I think you'd have more sympathetic people if, after all this time, if we added San Diego State or a G5 instead of an objectively solid P5 university.
