EMU is the "cradle of Athletic directors". Gene Smith, Gragg and Heather all ascended to awfully nice jobs after leaving Ypsilanti.

I always felt that Gragg was less than stellar while here, but apparently the powers that be in Evanston did not agree with my viewpoint.

You wanna write a book, make some extra cash, I have no problem with that. You do, however, have to "own" the opinions you express in such an endeavor. I also expect that when your high-profile football coach is fired, you cancel your European trip and high tale it back home to take questions. Gragg did not.

Urban Meyer may have been ambivalent about his assistant's domestic assault issues. He was, however, clear about Gene Smith's expectations for his program. 100% job placement beyond OSU football was the MINIMUM expectation of AD Smith. That my friends, is an Athletic Director.

Gragg has always been a hack. The rest of the world is only now seeing what some have always known.

Anytime someone talks about women like Gregg did: “Females will…” and “Females do…”it sounds like phrenology.

Bravo Professor! I suspect that 100% of this board had to look up the definition of "phrenology", I certainly did. Not bad for a science guy.
