Worth noting that Cal @ NT is likely now to kick off in 102° - 105° F temps. NT has been doing some practices in the stadium instead of the nice IPF to acclimate . Cal cannot simulate that in the Bay Area.

I did not realize they were kicking off the season against Cal at home. That is cool for NT, but from a merger/adding-Pac4 significant as well. It is hard to say you do not belong in a conference with teams that you already play against.

True. We played in Berkeley in 2019. Gave 'em a great game, too, nearly won it. They were originally supposed to pay it back in Denton in 2021, but they had an opportunity to play Notre Dame on short notice and requested to move the date. We agreed and picked up another H&H with UNLV in the process. We then played at UNLV last year and they will finish off the agreement by coming to Denton next year.

Like a lot of you, I am watching Navy - ND hoping the Midshipmen give them a game.

Also, I think I am more hyped for this season than I have been in years. It feels like the summer is dragging on forever.

USF final score didn’t reflect how close the game was, but it was a loss for the Bulls. I think we are better than what most expected. Wont really find out until game 4 vs Rice

MY LINE: Michigan 45-20 I'm a firm believer in ECU's run game and defense, but I have to see the qb play to feel any kind of way about this game. I don't think the Pirates will be awestruck at the gameday environment--but Michigan is playing at different level on experiences than the Pirates.
REALITY SAID: Michigan 30-3 Beat the spread LOL. But seriously, some strange things were afoot with the refs and while ECU had some great stops, turnovers on offense kept us from scoring more than a literal last second field goal to keep it from being a shutout. I have no idea what this game tells me about ECU aside from Flinn looks better at QB than Garcia.
