All 10 teams (including UTRGV) will be represented by coaches and select players at the inaugural event.

It will be on ESPN+

I really like the logo!!

1. Hire Oliver Luck as executive director

2. Create eye-catching logo

3. Perfect attendance at media day

3. ???

4. PROFIT!!!

He should be the next AD at Northwestern, everything that guy touches turns to gold.

Houston Oilers - moved to Nashville
Former AD at West Virginia - also known as Huggy Bear Drama Central
NCAA - in charge of regulatory functions - a highly esteemed organization if ever there was one
XFL - I honestly can't remember which version of the XFL he was in charge of, but I know that it folded, and the folding was quite messy.
UAC - things are lookin' good!
XFL 2.0 was the version
And to be fair, Covid did more damage than having Luck there. That being said, Vince McMahon being a control freak meant that things weren't going to work between Luck and him.

I'm pretty sure Bruce Pritchard and Bucky Beaver are the only people that want to be in the same room as Vince.

This UAC logo is better:

Speaking of which, I think this person is qualified to be the commissioner:

What is the purpose of the UAC? A place to level up your FCS program before a move to CUSA or MWC?

Eastern Kentucky
Austin Peay
North Alabama
Central Arkansas
Stephen F. Austin
Tarleton
Abilene Christian
UTRVG
Utah Tech
Southern Utah

Where does it go for membership afterwards? Big Sky and MVC-FB members aren't going to join it. CAA and Southern Conference won't either.

This is a CUSA 4.0 for FCS in my opinion.

RE: UAC Media Day & Logo Reveal
So what did the coach of the team that doesn’t exist say when it was his turn at the podium?

Here's a clip of his interview. Mainly about how that region loves football and the excitement around building the program. Over 2K season tickets sold for 2025 already[/align]. Reminds me of when West Florida started their program a few years back.

Well the original purpose was to ensure the WAC and ASUN had a playoff auto-bid between them despite insufficient membership numbers. The WAC and ASUN both had independent FBS aspirations before the UAC was formed to secure a bid back in 2021. It was supposed to be a temporary partnership. But with the WACSUN being raided (SHSU/JSU), there was a need for the conference to exist.

It seems like they’ve backed off the whole FBS thing. Some schools have the aspirations certainly but it seems like the “UAC’s purpose” is simply to become a good FCS conference at this point.

I imagine future members would come from the Big South and OVC, just like most previous ones have.

I’d say the Big South is a better FCS comparison/counterpart to FBS’ CUSA.
