I have seen information that they may name the former EMU HC (Jeff Genyk) as interim. He is currently on staff at NW. I also have seen the DC, David Braun, mentioned.

Trying to find a permanent HC now would be nearly impossible.

Why hire a coach that is on staff?
Whatever reason they used to fire the HC could be said about the assistants.

It wasn’t my opinion, just information that I saw. I completely agree, not sure how you keep any coaches.

Actually, .... Rod should be making calls. He would actually be a good fit. A guy to get in there and do an adequate job of just steering the ship for the next 9-12 months while they find their guy.

Sorry but that is a pointless idea. The newest staff addition and defensive coordinator -- David Braun from North Dakota State -- wasn't around when this stuff was happening and he is already on campus; he can "steer the ship for the next 9-12 months." Why bring in someone for what everyone knows will be a temporary assignment.
