That's probably because its USF that has the Publix on Campus.

UCF has a Football Stadium lined up Kennedy Space Center Launch Pad.

Honestly sorry.

UC recent graduates have exhibited great influence in business matters. For example recent Design, Art and Architecture graduate Dylan Mulvaney has effected InBev (Budweiser) market value by over $5 BILLION.

That is influence!

RE: Tell us about your school
I'll try and chime on UCF stuff but it's probably gonna be a little dicey.

UCF was founded in 1963 in Eastern Orange County in Orlando, FL. Orignally called Florida Technological University, the university changed it's name to UCF in 1978.
The Knights started competing in football in 1979 and entered into the Division 1A in 1996.

Our campus is circular in nature with a Student Union smack dab in the middle. We've experienced a ton of growth when President John Hitt came onboard and wanted to grow enrollment. We're currently sitting at 68,000+ students. We used to have a 'commuter school' tag but most of the students now live on or near campus so that moniker is old and simply not true anymore.

We opened up a new football stadium and baseketball arena in the same year (2007) and almost knocked out then ranked TExas for our inaguaral home game at the Bounce House.

Our stadium uses steel rather than the typical concrete you see in stadiums that created a bouncing type effect when fans jumped or danced or moved around alot. There has been several bracing improvements done and no matter what USF people tell you, it's safe, however it's loud af and honestly a cool atmosphere when rocking. We hosted Cincy one year (when Gameday was here) and it was so loud they had 2 penalties because they couldn't hear to snap the ball.

We're not really known for basketball, although we came one layup away from beating Duke in the NCAA tourney a few years back.

We yell KNIGHTS during the portion of the National Anthem for the "gave proof through the KNIGHT!...

Our tailgating scene is pretty impressive (Memory Mall is the main area where student tailgate but basically all of campus is open).

For clips and what not, def check out socials on IG, our teams are really good with their content.

So that is why I love UC.

You are super-old.

Random add-on thoughts:

Despite unfavorable demographics, UC’s enrollment for fall semester was announced at somewhere between 48,000-49,000 and had been consistently growing. It was around 32,000 when I attended back in the mid 80’s.

The work-study coop program was founded at UC and is considered one of its biggest draws.

Nippert has to be one of the most on-campus stadiums you’ll ever see. It literally sits 50 feet from the student union, and tickets are taken at the door of the campus pub. The south end zone seats end at the base of the conservatory’s practice facility. Students walk through Nippert on the way to class. There are no surface parking lots around the stadium - it’s all campus buildings.

Over the last 25 years the campus has been transformed. A lot of big-name architects were hired so UC has become somewhat of an architectural fantasyland. It has certainly changed since the first time I attended the school.

Crosley Tower does have issues. I think one of them is that it’s spewing chunks of concrete.

RE: Tell us about your school
Texas learned from the problems that occurred during the formation of the the Big 12, that it would have to operate secretly in order to leave the conference without withering political interference from all corners of the state. That is why both schools engaged in subterfuge and duplicity in planning their exit.

I disagree with the notion that UT was not motivated by money. Sure, they are the most anxiety ridden brand conscious bunch in college sports, but the potential to make more money was clearly the driver here.

It must be noted that Texas was well aware of the political land mines they would have to negotiate in order to partner with OU in a deal worth millions to the exclusion of in state conference members. Such a brazen move would have been politically untenable in any other state.

I just gave away about 80 cans from last year’s Halloween party, and these will probably go the same route. But it’s good to be prepared. I know Im not the only one who has bought the stuff.

People keep giving me Jack Daniels. Got 9 bottles of the stuff. Keeping them for now.

No one gives a hoot about his personal vendetta and persona. Sad this made the Big XII boards especially after some great university history and culture topics.

Dance Team
10 WORLD TITLES // 7 NATIONAL TITLES

An important aspect of the excitement and pageantry of the University of Cincinnati is the UC Dance Team. Along with performing at Football, Basketball, Volleyball and Soccer games, the team can be seen performing at several community events and working local fundraisers around the city of Cincinnati. The team consists of 30 members, who average a GPA of a 3.2. This dedicated group of individuals provides more than just entertainment. Like all Bearcats athletics teams, the Dance Team has brought national recognition to the University.

Holding seven National Titles and 10 World Titles places the UC Dance Team among the nation’s elite. In 2009, the team was selected to represent our country as Team USA Dance at the first ICU World Championship. They were also selected to be Team USA again in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. The team holds three consecutive National titles in the Hip Hop category for the years 2004, 2005 and 2006 and then won the title back in 2009 and again in 2014, 2015 and 2017. The University of Cincinnati Dance team proudly placed 4th in the D1A Pom and 6th in the D1A hip hop categories at the 2022 UDA National Dance Team Championships.

Transheiser Busch has managed to piss off enough people on both sides of the political aisle that they may have permanently damaged their brand. Even Mulvaney himself has expressed displeasure with them. The company should have stuck with doing commercials with the Budweiser frogs or the horses and stayed out of politics.
