Added CB Joejo Wallace who had been missing from the official roster.

There are still several players from last years roster that going through summer workouts (QB Will Prichard for example) that are not listed on the roster.

Butch is probably holding tryouts over the summer, as he has every summer, and we will find out who made the team next month or at the start of fall camp. Until then this is the team everyone should be talking about.

Yes, it is a little young overall but is a very talented roster of players, and has some depth.

Still early in the "process" but confident this is the year when everyone realizes just how good a recruiter and developer Butch Jones is and no SBC team is going to enjoy playing this young team at all. Not even a little bit.

Will have to wait until September to see if this is the highest rated roster in the SBC on 247's COLLEGE TEAM TALENT rating- which is all I have to compare SBC rosters.

You would think by adding the top rated recruiting class to the top rated 2022 roster they would, but can't tell for sure because teams never stop adding and subtracting players.

Should have a shot at repeating.

Know that talking about talent upsets A-State fans because they have a chronic underperformance problem, but anyone familiar with the culture that surrounds that program can understand why. They are the Rodney Dangerfield of college football.

Of course some of their lowest rated players are expected to be among their best players in 2023.

Like Canadian JC transfer Melique Straker- who is considered one of their top 10 players, many of their players that transferred up from smaller schools , or joined them as walk-ons don't have high ratings, and in some cases no rating.

Many of these player- like C Jacob Bayer, DT Micah Bland, CB Donte Thompson, DT Treviance VJ Bronson, DT Timothy Hardiman II, DT Nate Martey, LB Charles Willekes, RB Zac Wallace, WR Reagan Ealy, and CB JoJo Wallace, are expected to be key players this coming season.
