Really need to see Butch Jones turn it around this year. Scoreboard did not improve last season, but the stat sheet did, at least on defense. Need to take another step forward and turn that into wins.

We have veteran QB JT Shrout from Colorado, although he isn't exactly a star. Also we upgraded our Oline with a bunch of transfers. Should be one of the biggest/deepest olines in the conference. We plugged in a couple good defensive players where depth and experience has been needed. Same could be said with offense except more so. One of those additions being our returning WR Corey Rucker who was a star for us before his short departure. Also, not noted on the preview is Zak Wallace who is a big RB from UT Martin that rushed for 1,012 yards and 16 touchdowns last season. Wallace is a two-time All-Ohio Valley Conference selection and a two-time All-American by Hero Sports. He rushed for 807 and 15 scores in 2021.
