I went to a wedding this weekend in Conway. The now-grown-up cousins of my wife who was out flower girl got married. She had our daughter and son as her flower girl and ring bearer. Sweet how life comes full circle.

Anyway, the reception was held at the Peanut Warehouse and the rehearsal dinner was at th Cypress Inn. I have to say: the venues were lovely, and downtown Conway was very charming. Easily the most charming part of the Grand Strand I've been to. Honestly I was so impressed. Beautiful little marina on the Waccamaw River. Spanish moss. I loved it.

Glad you had a nice visit! Downtown Conway is very historic and is growing into a nice little college town. A lot of people think Conway is just Hwy 501.

Downtown Conway has had quite the resurgence lately. A lot of new dining spots. The river walk is nice.

My now wife was living in Conway when we met 10 years ago. Conway is indeed a charming town with some legit food. Rivertown Bistro, and Wild Tuna down the road. The river walk is nice as well. It's been awhile since I last went, but posts like this makes me nostalgic and want to revisit with the wife.
