Dude escapes tackles like his whole body is greased. Houston and Texas fans were convinced he made a deal with the devil avoiding so many sacks. Idk how he keeps getting away with it either 03-lmfao

RE: The Best in the AAC... According to Lindy's
(Not Lindy's) Most unknown with the most potential: Mason Garcia (ECU) – QB – 6’5” 242lbs

Bigger than Ahlers. Faster than Ahlers. Much stronger arm than Ahlers. Highly touted coming out of HS, but had some academic work to do.

It is a very popular rumor among ECU fans that Garcia "can't learn the playbook" or he "can't progress past his first read." He has received virtually no playing time outside of 1 horrible game vs Navy his freshman year. Ahlers just never came out of games. Couple that with the fact that another QB (Alex Flinn) had a really good spring and our coach said it is a competition… and now our fans are thinking Garcia must REALLY be struggling.

I don’t buy it. The kid is training at the Manning Academy, trained with QB Country, and has been nonstop all offseason. We hopefully have him for 3 years, and I think he’s going to be the next great ECU QB.

Garcia definitely has a stronger arm than Henigan though Henigan is a better QB at least from what we’ve seen.

The last QB we had that could make "all the throws" was David Garrard. (Maybe James Pinkney, but we never found out because he had no OL.)

It will all come down to whether or not Garcia has it between the ears. I think he does.
