RE: CU beat writers: Analysis of Colorado's future as Pac-12 still working on media deal
BuffZone gave some interesting intel on the Colorado board meetings. They said they were told it is to keep the regents up to date and informed.

They also said everyone is getting impatient, that it has taken too long. If the media contract situation drags on into July schools will start leaving. I think this meshes with what Robbins was saying for Arizona. There is no doubt he is also in frequent contact with his CU peer, though not as much as ASU's Ray.

So I'm coming off my initial reaction that Friday is big for Colorado and instead place them on the same timeline as Arizona, giving Kliavkoff the rest of June to get a deal done. But if come Independence day nothing is announced, the conference will blow apart shortly after.

This is why I can never live in the East anymore. My world ends maybe 20 miles east of the front range. God's country is the West, and that starts at the Rockies.

"If there was a good deal to be had, you would think it would be had by now..."

"PAC-12 media day is July 21st in Las Vegas...at that point, how may of those 12 schools are going to show up that day are actually going to be future members of the PAC-12"
