I just hope this will help them get on expanding the baseball stadium soon.

I saw someone say that they wanted to make the Roost into something more and turn it into luxury boxes. And the ticket holders out there said please don't, that's what makes the Roost something special. Hopefully McClain listens and continues expansion elsewhere. The Roost is unique and I love when I'm sitting at my house in PA or in my yard streaming a game and my neighbors see the Roost and ask what it is, and they all dig it. Winning the Regional at home last season wouldn't had been as cool if that is a luxury spot where businesses own it and give tickets away to clients and friends.. Those people who sit in the Roost are always there and always cheering the guys on.
That's what USM baseball is.. We're not fancy people.. If they do anything to the Roost maybe expand it, where I don't know, but leave the engineers and concrete trucks out of it.

I'm not sure what the options are. I do know they are limited.
For example next year Tennessee starts their expansion on their stadium and one of the reasons we got to get the Super Regional (us having a bigger stadium) goes away. What happens when we lose bids due to not having enough seating? What happens when the sports lose money that we could have gotten through more ticket sales.
There is always an argument to be made on both sides. Unique feel/tradition vs getting more people to the games/more money. A lot of projects are always caught up in the push/pull of those priorities and trying to get a little bit of both done.

I don't either. I haven't been able to attend a game since the latest renovations. I mean the Roost are the most loyal fans, and while growth is good, but can't alienate them.
