SDSU all games picked up by Fox/CBS
Air Force all but FCS and @Hawaii
UNLV only Michigan, Vanderbilt, UTEP, Fresno, Wyoming, Air Force
New Mexico only A&M, Nevada, Fresno, Boise, Utah State
Boise all but @Memphis
Wyoming all but Portland State, Hawaii, New Mexico
Utah State: Boise, Fresno, Air Force, SJSU, SDSU, New Mexico
Nevada: USC, Kansas, Fresno, SDSU, New Mexico, Wyoming
Fresno all but EWU.
Breaking it down:
ABC includes ESPN family
CBS includes CBSSN
Fox includes FS1 and FS2
Team Total ABC CBS Fox Other
SDSU 12 0 7 5 0
BSU 11 1 4 6 0
Fresno 11 0 4 6 1 (Big10)
AFA 10 0 8 2 0
WYO 9 0 5 3 1 (LHN)
SJSU 8 1 5 1 1 (P12)
UNR 6 0 3 2 1 (P12)
UNLV. 6. 1 3 2 0
USU 6 0 5 1 0
CSU 5 0 4 1 0
UNM 5 1 2 2 0
Hawaii 2 0 2 0 0
No one is adding a team that only gets 1/2 their games or worse picked up by National TV Partners.
The only 4 MWC schools worth adding right now.
Fresno doesn't cut it academically even for the big 12, but the other 3 could be good.
Air Force is not a research school
Boise is a low tier 3 research
SDSU is a high tier 2 school
Fresno is a middle tier 2 school
The only reason SDSU isn't already R1 was because a clerk made an error on the application. SDSU did $164M in research last year, Oregon did $150M. Oregon is considered AAU though I don't know why they still hold that status.
