Which Division I schools reached the postseason in every major sport?
Interesting article from FootballScoop:

https://footballscoop.com/news/which-div...ll-2022-23

They breakdown sports groupings like these but go until they get a Final 2.

FBS schools that made a bowl game and the NCAA men's basketball tournament: 28

Division I schools that reached the postseason in all three major men's sports: 12

D1 schools that reached the postseason in football + men's basketball + baseball + women's basketball: 7

D1 schools that reached the postseason in football + men's basketball + baseball + women's basketball + volleyball + softball: 2

Facts that stood out to me:

A quick aside to examine the above chart by conference: How many schools from each Power 5 league put a team in a bowl game and the Big Dance?

ACC: 3 of 14 total teams (21.4%)
Big Ten: 5 of 14 (35.7%)
Big 12: 5 of 10 (50%)
SEC: 6 of 14 (42.9%)
Pac-12: 2 of 12 (16.7%)

D1 schools that reached the postseason in football + men's basketball + baseball + women's basketball: 7

Alabama
Duke
Iowa
Maryland
NC State
Tennessee
Texas

North Texas went bowling, losing to Boise State by 3 just points. But, UNT got f'd out of playing in the NCAA Tournament. The Mean Green had the highest NET ranking of any team not selected to the Tournament, and higher than some that received al-large bids. The fact that UNT won the NIT is clear evidence that the selection committee got it wrong. North Texas should have been in the NCAA Tournament and should be the 29th team in that stat. Oh well, maybe next year. 04-drinky

Based on TV ratings, the next 3 NCAA sports are softball, men's lacrosse, and men's ice hockey. D1 schools that made the postseason in football+men's basketball+baseball+women's basketball+softball+men's lacrosse+men's ice hockey: 0

How many made 5/7 or 4/7? Probably a short list.

Well only 76 play lacrosse and about 60 hockey, so 7 of 7 would be unusual. Perhaps only 30-40 schools have that even possible.

Schools that play men's D1 baseball, men's D1 college hockey, and men's D1 lacrosse: Brown, Bryant, Canisius, Holy Cross, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Hofstra, Lindenwood, LIU, Merrimack, Ohio State, Penn State, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, SUNY Binghamton (future), Air Force, Army, UMass, Michigan, Notre Dame, Yale.

If you restrict yourself to the FBS postseason, you're left with five.

I'm surprised volleyball isn't further up in the ratings, tbh.

Or restrict it to a list of sports considered "major college sports" nationwide, which would be "the two major college sports".

RE: Which Division I schools reached the postseason in every major sport?
The major sport that makes money is football and men's basketball. Men's ice hockey is not a major sport when the majority of the schools don't have it. Not every school have baseball. The numbers would be for Football, men's basketball and women's basketball because the majority have football, and all have basketball.
