Another example of Colorado buzz.

Quote:Fueled by the excitement of new coach Deion Sanders, Colorado football already sold out of season ticket allotment back in April.

On Wednesday, the public — that is, Nebraska fans — got a chance to buy single-game tickets for the Sept. 9 Huskers-Buffaloes battle at Folsom Field.

Seats still remained on Wednesday afternoon. The cheapest ones — on CU's website or resale sites like StubHub — were $400 each. And there weren't many of those. A good view between the 20s would cost at least $460 per seat, plus fees that push the cost near $1000 for a pair. That's a couple grand for four.

That's more expensive than the Chiefs' NFL season opener against the Lions. It's 22 times more expensive than four tickets to Nebraska's home opener against Northern Illinois. And it's just a hair below what it'd currently cost to get a seat at this year's Michigan-Ohio State game.

Another example of the buzz around Colorado...

If he can do that for every school in the Pac, then perhaps Kliavkoff is right! Maybe he can coach the women's basketball team, too, I hear they're about to start making big $$ for the Pac.
