RE: 2022/2023 attendance for all team sports

Their website wasn't complete for three events, but the four that did have attendance numbers averaged out to 2,740. Missing were Boise State, Iowa and the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference meet. It could be just two, as the Iowa meet was the same day as the San Jose meet, which did have an attendance number.
If the average carried out, they would have totaled roughly 15,000 in total attendance. I would imagine the conference meet would have been larger, as it lists BYU and Utah State as the visitors, three relatively close, in-state schools at the same meet, but likely doesn't eclipse 18,000 in a best-case scenario.

RE: 2022/2023 attendance for all team sports
Also, thanks to this thread:
https://csnbbs.com/thread-970784.html
I found out that the "official" attendance numbers are off from mine, due to the NCAA counting doubleheaders with a dash as a zero in attendance average. Essentially, saying zero people attended the first game and 1,417 attended the second against Western Michigan and zero fans watched the first game of the double header against Abilene Christian while 2,152 attended the second.
I don't count dashes because that's obviously bull. So if a team played 30 games and there were two dashes, I average it out over 28 games. Also, some teams have an attendance count for the first game of a double header. So it is the best way I know how to do an apples-to-apples comparison.
