Well they do have some students or whoever it is that call EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Doesn’t matter how many times you tell them to stop calling, take me off your list, etc they continue to do so. Way too expensive for the products on the field and court when every game is on TV. That means my recliner or patio, no dumb a$$ morons and crowds to deal with, cheaper beer and can change channel when I want to. We still go to a few games but my gosh, lay off the telemarketing BS over there at the ticket office!

My point was that I have worked with people in pro sports who are responsible for attendance. That is their sole job. If they do not do the job, they are replaced with someone who can. It is all a matter of having someone who is dedicated to that job. It is done in pro sports so why not at Memphis? Seems like it would be money well spent and at least those on this board could point the finger at someone and say "It's his fault for doing a bad job!" Right now...exactly who can you blame?

that would be a great idea, however those in charge of the Admin at the University of Memphis think that they cannot afford that position even thought they are seling a produce with a marginal cost of next to zero...


they did hire a firm a few years ago to call old season ticket holders to see if they would rebuy... with mixed results.

The best marketing plan is less seats.

Sorry you got mad about the 12 hour deal. It's part of the real world we all must put up with from time to time. I once worked 12 hours for 13 straight days. 5am-5pm. Got to work when it was dark and got off when it was dark. But that was my job.

I built Macros and stuff so I work about 2 hours a day. Golf course a lot more fun on a Wednesday.

Before the pandemic, I had whittled it down to 2-4 hours a day. Now, I (unfortunately) have to put in a normal week.
