Honestly, I kind of hope it all blows up at some point so that we get more regional conferences back with rivalries &/or history being a driving factor. I know this is not likely to happen anytime soon, if ever, but that's what I want, as was requested in the subject.

I like that except I might be inclined to dump Benedict Maryland for W&M.

What I want based on the 2024 alignment is:

The ACC not to lose any more schools. Stay at 14 5/8th.
The B1G to stay at 16.
The SEC to stay at 16.
B12 Stay at 12.
Pac 12 add UNLV and SDSU and stay at 12.
MWC stay at 10.
AAC stay at 14
Sunbelt stay at 12.
CUSA stay at whatever they're at.
MAC to add UConn and UMass as FB only.

Where's A&M? They got kicked out of that version of the Big 12 and replaced by Utah. They're not in that SEC, either.

I assumed he had them in the Gulf Coast conference with the Louisiana G5s, Southern Miss, USA, Troy, and Jacksonville State.

Aggies might win the occasional conference title in that one.

I want the Big 12 to go big.

Add CO, UT, AZ, ASU to get to 16

Then add
SDSU, UNLV, SMU and UConn to get to 20

Then when GOR for ACC dissolves, pick up the pieces and add
Louisville, Pittsburg, Georgia Tech and either Miami or USF to get to 24

I'd like things to just stay steady for a few years and see how the current (impending) state of affairs really plays out.

Definitely a geographic winner! Culturally, it fits Clemson well in all areas EXCEPT for football and as football goes, so does Clemson. So, my preference for a 10 team conference for Clemson would be:
