AK said a few good things. He’s working on some matchups he thinks fans will be excited about, that EG he’s going to let play out the entire process and seems to want him back.

Agreed. Those are nice to have, but that's only going to move the crowd from maybe 3.5k to 4.5k in December.

He also mentioned it's possible he plays Yax and Coleman at the same time, expects Butta to make a big improvement over the summer, and in an ideal world would play Bama or Auburn at the BJCC every year. He said if playing Bama was up to him and Nate Oats it would have already happened.

Let's hear the same come out of Nate Oats mouth. Matter of fact we've heard the same come out of Saban's mouth about football. So don't get too excited.

I was a bit surprised by how much money can be potentially made playing ball overseas.

An almost 30% increase in crowd would be huge.

It came out of Oats' mouth early on, just after his hire and before someone made clear to him UA's stance regarding playing UAB. I'm not holding my breath, and I don't care if we ever play them again.

I'm good with 1-0 vs their basketball program and 1-0 vs their football coach.

If the series is done right it could be. If not I would rather play some blue bloods.

In addition, nearly having to fist fight my way out of that dump they play in was enough for me. Only time I was ever cussed out at a cattle trough in the restroom.

Their students were actually congratulatory and accepted defeat with grace.

Their drunken, inbred, redneck, moronic, mouth-breathing, goat-fellating t-shirt fans . . . Good God. It was the stuff of a hundred anthropology dissertations into semi-human barbarism. They threw folding chairs at their own coach. They screamed "f****** n*****" at their own players. They rampaged through the concourse looking to fight old ladies wearing green.

They are a degenerate breed who have lost their humanity to excess consumption of Everclear and vienna sausage. I don't want them rubbing their feces on Gene's statue like the band of escaped orangutans they are.

We are Undefeated Against Bammer. Let it remain so.

RE: HCAK on TNR @ 12:20 PM (5/18)
IMHO,

These instate series against uat/aub are only beneficial to the winning teams. we went 0-5 against aub and they ascended and we descended to the point of a coaching change. (Thank goodness).

They already cherry pick local/state players as they see fit. losing to them every year or even most years wouldn't improve that.

I really like the AK recruiting model to grab 3+ star players from the wealthy schools as they sit talent on the bench wasting time. PT is a great recruiting tool. we need to get into NIL money. i saw something on twitter about some NIL deals but didn't read into the tweet.
