Um, no. "intents and purposes" is correct. It is used, especially in legal context, as "essentially" or "in effect". "Intents" is important because it renders any considerations can not alter the outcome so any effort at shaping & raising the issue again is moot. "Purposes" are the actions that would follow intents.

Pretty basic for P6-level posters to figure out that it originally said "all intensive purposes" and he fixed it.

You correct me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize.

Trans-heiser Busch? No thanks.

I'm getting fed up with virtue-signaling companies who think they have to sell political ideology, not just simply make a product.

My wife states she cannot find maternity clothes and other items, but plenty of "tuckable" swimwear exists. Honestly, it is not much of a sacrifice to shop elsewhere.

clt says congrats on the kiddo on the way!

Thank you. My wife shopped for our daughter who gave birth to our first grandchild six weeks ago. We could not be more grateful or pleased for the blessing bestowed upon us.

It gets better, though.

Cause our big group camped down by the beach last weekend to go deep sea fishing. We brought enough camping gear that we were able to fit all in tents. And, porpoises!
