Here’s some info on this kids background from when he first signed with Billy Gillespie. I hope he does well. Seems like a good guy, and not one of the entitled prima donnas that many programs are filled with.

But even better, he’s from Chicago so will likely have people show up to see him. And people in the stands help bring more people to the games.

He’s a big body, a good shooter/gets good shots. A strong inside presence is something Chicago lacked last season. Hopefully he’ll help in that department.

With all of that said, he was a huge standout st Cowley County. He started half the time and got about 20 minutes per game, scored 9 ppg. This was on a team that had multiple players sign with D1 teams however, and that league is loaded with D1 talent, so it’s a little easier to gauge the talent level it takes to even take the court there.

This new coach obviously can recruit. I can't tell where the big holes may be in our roster.
