Practice? Owls obviously aren't doing anything to prevent it, so why not?

Owls only jumped out to a 1-0 after leading by 4 and 5, respectively, on Friday and Saturday, a lead which they quickly gave up on the above-mentioned double steal.

Perkins starts the 3rd, and now has given up a 3-run bomb. Down 4-1

Now 5-1. Raj coming in. It’s a Sunday, so the run rule will be in effect.

I don’t mind choking in the 7th/8th/9th innings. Don’t care much for the early carnage.

Maybe timing is everything though and this way gives us more time to mount a proper comeback.

Nothing doing for the Owls in the top of the 5th, and Raj gets an inning-ending DP to get out of the bottom of the 5th. On to the top of the 6th, still up 6-5

6-5 still heading to B6. Finally get a solid outing from Raj, but why now Cienfuegos, who blew yesterday's game? Why not Ben-Shonan or Brogdon, neither of whom have pitched so far this weekend?

Cienfuegos comes in to start the B6. Gets up 0-2 on the 1st hitter and then throws a gopher ball. 6-6.

Follows it sith an infield single. SMH

FC, single error puts the RRs up 7-6.

I’m done. A yard that needs mowing is calling.

And as was so predictable, Cienfuegos gives up the game-tying HR to first batter faced. Certainly can't blame Jose for all the bullpen woes, but some of his decisions are real head-scratchers. For example, if Linskey is available today, what are you holding him for? No point putting him in when the game becomes out of reach.

Now losing 7-6 in the 7th

Cienfuegos gives up a HR, 2 singles, 2 HBPs and exits with Rice down 6-7, with bases loaded, and only one out. Second consecutive disastrous outing. WTH did Jose elect to go with him after UTSA killed him yesterday?

And of course he NOW brings in Linskey. Sorry, but what a waste. Bullpen management continues to be perhaps our #1 issue.

Linskey gives up a grand slam. Maybe Jose knew that he could not trust him either.

The reality is that virtually our entire bullpen has had some good stretches, and some really bad ones. There is literally no one in there that he can trust when we need to get outs.
