I imagine he was supposed to be bringing his 7'5 center with him ... Who just committed to Ole Miss. So Stansbury may not come after all !!! Of course, he stole Emanuel Akot from us so ... WHO KNOWS ?!?!

Considering that Penny's assistants seem to have a one year span of service.... as long as he is able to help land some big gets in the portal or otherwise, it's not bad. Its a step down from Grank Haith though, who was a step down from Larry Brown

Penny has been in basketball since he could walk--played for some of the greatest coaches in the game---been in every basketball situation thousands of times ---what exactly can another coach teach him

I dont know, maybe how to relay all that knowledge to others. Being able to do something doesnt mean you can necessarily teach it, nor does being able to teach it mean you can do it. If it were as simple as you make it out to be, every former player would be hall of fame coaches when we know that is far from the reality.
