Women's field hockey is respectable in the MAC, Miami has been the dominant program of late. JMU appears to have a pretty good program too.

Finally, an SBC friend joins App in MAC Field Hockey. Now if we could just rescue ODU from the Big East...

Of all MAC Field Hockey teans, App and Miami (Oh) tied for the most wins this past season (13). No other team won more than 9.

Women's Field Hockey is way more popular than mens. We can thank the Dutch team for that. It's also big in India. I'm not sure why the short skirts aren't marketed a bit more, as opposed to a sport like women's lacrosse. Field Hockey should be the fifth team sport behind soccer BBall softball and Volleyball for women. Lacrosse and hockey are not interesting given the lack of marketability.

If they want to go full Shania Twain, the short skirts need to be combined with men's shirts.

I think App has a chance win the MAC next year. Glad this doesnt start until '24. JMU will be a lock to win the MAC every year after that.
