New focus coming in strength training for football?
One of the most interesting articles I’ve read on sports training. Found myself wondering how it would help even the playing field with the p5

RE: New focus coming in strength training for football?
I had read that, and it makes sense. Back in the day, players, particularly baseball players, were discouraged from from weight lifting with a "You'll get musclebound." Today, lifting and nutrition advances allows players to put on much more muscle, and lifting programs are not just encouraged, they are required. In some cases players put on so much muscle that the strain on their soft tissue and tendon attachments to the bone actually cause damage.

Interesting article.
