Anyone know the status of Andrew Jones (#33)? He was a highly rated LB out of Louisiana a couple of years ago. He still is listed on the roster, but I did not see his name on the list of players in the Blue/Gray game.

I think I saw him on the list under Defensive Backs, so maybe a position change.

Hope he gets on the field. Has a lot of talent.

Kind of strange that he had his best game of the year against MSU, the very first game of the year. Nothing much after that. Wonder if he was injured or maybe others just played better.

He was part of a healthy Baton Rouge pipeline thats looks like its kinda dried up. Hated seeing Tyrell Raby in the portal.

Yea, he was there and dressed on Friday night. Some times the kids that are highly ranked out of HS are over ranked... If he doesn't get alot of playing time this year that will send a signal.

Young phenom for the Braves in mid-90's. Jones was called up to "the big team" as a 19yo. He initially played RF (with Marquis Grissom at CF), and moved to CF after year 1. He went on to become the youngest player to hit a HR in the World Series (19yo). Andruw Jones had a great career.

You're right and I agree, though at the same time the only other game that felt like a blowout (to me) was the North Alabama game. But it is curious that regardless of the games outcomes he's listed as playing in nine games and apparently no stats in eight of them. It'd be nice if plays per game were a listed stat then we could have a better idea of how much he was on the field.

I think I saw on Twitter he is going to Grambling but never saw it reported he had entered the portal.

I think he has the potential to be extremely good at either position. I don't think he liked the change to DB and went somewhere to play LB right away.
