Agreed. When he tweeted he was in the portal FSU fans were all over them because he was local. I assumed that would be his landing spot.

Somebody help me, is he on scholarship? Just because he was pledged to temple, I can’t just count him as one, knowing where he is coming from.

I guess this is like signing Schleuger however many years ago.

Every power 5 school that came out of spring ball with positions they weren’t feeling good about was digging into others’ rosters like it was Cosco

100% tampering going on, nobody gives a damn. We have Wichita State fans on the AAC board saying their NIL offer is more than KState will give and Texas likely won’t match. This is literally what NIL is not supposed to be and is pay for play, but here we are. I’m not calling out Wichita because they are far from the only school doing it, just pointing out rules are directly and blatantly being violated and nobody cares or has the ability to do anything.

The NCAA spent over 50 million in legal fees fighting NIL. They lost. The NCAA has spent millions lobbying congress about the NIL and nothing has happened. At some point you realize that you have done what you can do and stop throwing good money after bad.

Someone find the link to the TK interview with Mark where he talks about other teams trying to poach our kids during warm ups in basketball. This is completely out of hand. You don't even need bag man any more. Just hit their DMs or just walk right up to them in warm ups.

Now imagine playing a spring game at Auburn or Tuscaloosa during the portal and having a virtual meat market for them to recruit guys in person.

We came out pretty well here. Out of the 13 that entered the portal, Key was the only one in the 2-deep.

"On Sunday, UAB grad transfer safety Jaylen Key revealed his top-six schools. Florida State was among the programs to make the cut that also included Alabama, Ohio State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, and Oregon."

He is a really good guy. He had great interactions with the kids all the time. I really like Key and wish him the best. Sad that he is likely leaving. Hope he hits the NFL lottery and makes it for a number of years. I will always think of him as a Blazer!

If he winds up at Bama or Ohio State and plays, he will wind up in the tip 3 rounds for sure. Wish him nothing but the best
