NIU women's golf has finished 2nd place to KSU in back-to-back years now.

KSU finished near bottom of pack at Regionals, but did have a freshman qualify for NCAA as an individual

NIU men's team won the conference. They are at the NCAA Regional in Salem, S.C. Currently in 4th place (out of 14 teams) after round 1.

Impressive showing so far! I’ve seen both Texas A&M and SDSU play on the Golf Channel this spring and they have some impressive talent, especially TAMU, several who have a future on the PGA Tour, like Sam Bennett. Keep it up!

On a side note, I’ve got no doubt that my high school golf team (we weren’t great) would finish ahead of Long Island U.

Top five teams advance to the Championship. NIU in 5th, five shots ahead of 6th with one round to go tomorrow. But there are some killers behind them that can make up a lot of ground. It will take a strong round to take it. Let’s go Huskies!

After a few holes, #26 Ga. Southern has closed to just one back. Probably be a volatile day.

Just curious when is last time a team other than Kent State has made it to NCAA Finals for the MAC

Tough break, NIU did well the first two rounds. In the end we finished 5 shots away from a 5th place finish. Top 5 finishers advance. Only non-ranked schools to finish in the top 9 was us and Clemson. We finished ahead of all the other unranked schools (except for Clemson) and #38 Purdue.

Hopefully the men's team can return next year. Both golf programs have gotten better, especially with Rich Harvest being a big supporter of the NIU golf programs and a reknowned golf course and practice facilities.
