Royo with his second successful squeeze bunt in as many days following a Holderbach walk and Smiggy single. Still two guys on for Reidel with 1 outs. Force out moves the runners into scoring position with two outs, but Duffield grounds out on first pitch.

Can Raj close this one out for a much-needed series win?

Pathetic. Raj gets the first two outs, including fanning Boyd, then issues a 5-pitch walk, a line single on a 1-2 pitch, then another walk, with a wild pitch scoring the tying run. And there's no one left in the bullpen to replace him aside from Zaskoda and Rodriguez.

Raj escapes further damage with a strikeout, stranding runners on 2B and 3B.

Who do we have available to pitch the 11th?

Rice goes down on 4 pitches (!!!) in T11, and MTSU sends up the top of their order. Are we really going with Raj a 3rd inning and 2nd time through the lineup? Does not bode well.

lol Raj gives up the game-winning HR on his first pitch. 03-banghead

Jose's refusal to let McCracken go beyond 4.2 IP and 67 pitches bites him once again as he ran out of bullpen pitchers. Raj is ideally a one-inning pitcher. Asking him to go 3 innings was not going to turn out well, especially since he hit the wall after 1.2 IP.

Cruz is not the guy.

Coaches with a pulse have their team in a better place than they found it by year two. This coach does not.

Not a single area of improvement on the field and game management.

Defense is markedly better than the past few seasons, especially when Garza is behind the dish. Offense, game management and bullpen management has shown absolutely no improvement. No lessons learned.

Was there any mention by JP about why Manny wasn’t behind the plate this weekend?

Should have hired Hallmark at UTSA as recommend by Graham.

He mentioned that Manny was in concussion protocol and didn't make the trip.

I love the Cruz family and all they have done for Rice baseball, but at this point Hallmark appears to have been the better coaching choice. Next year needs to show dramatic improvement.
