2023 Football Season: Welcome to the AAC
AAC preview, Part 1: Burning questions and players to watch

Quote:"and Rice remains interred in a long-term rebuild"

that's pretty funny.

“Rice actually landed a bowl bid at 5-7 last year thanks to their superior Academic Progress Report score (that's a game they can definitely win)…”

Too bad we only get to play that card with a 5-7 record. 03-wink

The AAC looks weak to me this season. There are several teams with new coaches. A lot of rebuilding is happening.

We should be improved. If we stay healthy, we can win seven games. The talent is there. A losing record would be a very big failure to this staff.

Teams with new coaches scare me. They are usually full of enthusiasm and a can-do attitude, and just maybe the new coach has corrected whatever caused the old coach to be fired.

I think we can win 7+ games. I would be very disappointed with less than 7. JMHO.

Charlotte is a great example. How can anyone forecast the 49ers at this point?

The new era of open transfer rules have made it more difficult to predict.

Yes all the college football magazines and their predictions are a waste of money now.

Phil Steele has a good magazine. His is released late compared to the others. They do a lot of good analysis on the mid-major universities.

I waited until the last day to renew, but did. Here’s hoping the Owls give me reason to make the 3.5 hour drive.

Casey Thompson is going to play his sixth and final season at FAU. So that means when we host them at the end of the 2023 season, the QB battle could be 23 year old JT Daniels vs. Thompson, who turns 25 in October.
