And there’s only so long people in Chicago can continue to blame random Republican voters in, say, Wyoming, West Virginia, or Texas before they see the scam happening to them by the ones they have been supporting.

Speaking from experience, what they do is say the Democrats they elected weren’t progressive enough or did a bad job. The next elected Democrat will be better.
