The write-up indicated it was a very exciting game. I'm sorry I cancelled my Flo last week (although I'll pick it up again in the fall when the Tribe starts playing CAA games).

I did keep Flo for this reason only. Trailed 5-4 with 2 outs and bases empty in bottom of 9th, and were down to last strike at one point. Got a base runner, then a double to tie it up. Won in 10th with two out when Elon 3rd baseman threw away a routine throw to first and our player on first came all the way around to score, sliding home ahead of the throw.

Coach McRae was the featured speaker at Williamsburg Youth Baseball opening day ceremonies this morning. He worked last night's win into his speech about shared memories with teammates. How the team started their day around 1pm and ended at 11pm and they'll never forget it. He was a lot better at giving the speech than I am at recounting it.

Another miracle finish. Down 3-2 with 2 outs and no one on against the CAA saves leader. Single, double, and double gives Tribe a super important walk off win. Two of three hits by true Freshmen, with Corey Adams’ double driving in both runs.

Lovasz started off a little rough, but he ended up with a bunch of strikeouts and looked pretty good. Great comeback win today.
