I’ll definitely be at that one if true. I think it’s smart to play the local SWAC schools on the road as they aren’t likely to beat us, and the NET hit isn’t quite as hard. Even if our road games aren’t terribly tough environments, at least we are playing some before conference play opens.

Alabama State took us to three overtimes in Montgomery after Carlos Williams broke his leg on a dunk with no one around him. Chad Jones saved our bacon that game.

I would imagine we don’t mind playing in Huntsville area this one time since we recruit so much up there.

That was almost 30 years ago. If we can't beat a SWAC team on the road, it's going to be a long season.

Been a while since we took over an away gym. I hope it's not a weeknight game.

I will definitely go to the A&M and MTSU games... Would really enjoy going to the Asheville tournament too.

I've come to the realization that the rest of our 2-4 OOC games just aren't going to be good. If they were, surely they would've been announced by now, even by the release of another team's schedule, like what happened with MTSU.

Final exams are December 4-8, so I would guess the Southern Miss game would be either between November 14-18 or December 2nd. We’ll see.

I guess we’ve committed to the NIT as the end goal under this coach. Games at Ark state, AAMU. Lol. In what realm does playing them benefit us? Why do we insist on playing games that we’ll get punished for?

Eh, it's definitely a step up this year compared to previous seasons. Drake, Bradley, Clemson, Davidson/Maryland, MTSU, and Southern Miss are all quality games. UNC Asheville isn't a NET killer. The only head scratchers for me are Arkansas State and Montevallo
