MPHS Standout Commits to MSU
Offensive lineman Andrew Dennis (6-5, 275) of Mt. Pleasant (Mich.) High School announced his commitment to Michigan State this evening.

Best of luck to Andrew at MSU, he would've been a great get for the Chippewas. Perhaps if things don't work out in East Lansing he could end up at CMU someday.

Well parents were Spartans not surprised. Just wish some kids in Mt p grew up as CMU fans and desired to play for the chips.
Ofc with no local.media it's hard for locals to get excited

RE: MPHS Standout Commits to MSU
This kid had almost double digit P5 offers already, it would have been tough to keep him in Mt. Pleasant.

I lament our inability to get many local kids to commit as well, but the truth is that they want to spread their wings and experience something new. I couldn't wait to go off to college and experience independence, meet new people, see and do new things. It's part of growing up. I guess what I'm saying is...don't feel too bad about it.
