I hope SDSU wins but I think Uconn will roll. I hope our conference never invites UConn as the FB SUCKS.

UConn and SDSU should be considered for Big 12 membership. Both schools have made the commitment to construct new facilities and increased their budgets for their coaching staff. Uconn has built new facilities across the board and has hired a proven HC in football that has turned the program around. And Uconn's MBB and WBB continue to be top programs. I am in Houston for the Final Four and met some UConn fans at breakfast. And they tell me their administration has shown an interest to be the TriState program for an expanded Big 12. UConn definitely wants to be a member of the Top BB conference and compete in a conference that provides better bowl game opportunities for football
. The Four Corner schools, combined with SDSU, FSU, and UConn will be great additions. Tulane or USF (if they build OCS) would be great choices to round out a UConn acquisition. While the Big 12 doesn't need another Texas school they can't ignore the potential of UTSA.For that matter. Charlotte should also be a potential future target if they complete their new facilities. A major city in SEC/ACC territory would be a huge gain for the big 12.

News Flash: You don't have to like anyone... Neither do I.

Uconn was a pain to share a conference with. They are good at taking without adding much in. I don't want to share a conference with them...or Temple for that matter...again. There are far better options out there that bring new markets, like any of the "4 Corners Schools."

Until Uconn demonstrates a commitment to football, they're just fine right where they are. Yes, they just won another natty in basketball, but in between the time Uconn won it's two natty's, the B12 has won a couple of them as well, so is not like the B12 NEEDS Uconn basketball.

But boy come football season is when the B12 would regret it, Uconn is one of the biggest boat anchors you can find. No facilities worth crap and no fan support that I can remember.

The B12 can do better.

UConn pulled their wieght

WVU was in the same conference as UConn for 15ish years and I never got the impression that they were any more difficult to deal with than the average school. From a wvu fans perspective: Notre Dame was hard to deal with, Texas was hard to deal with but not UConn .

They’re not going to win the league in football. They’re going to be similar to Kansas. Not the super blue blood like KU but they’re also close to NYC. I think KU is a great asset to the league. I’ll take another one
