Recruiting services should start rating every player in the country currently playing
Back in the day, you know like 3 years ago, recruiting services focused primarily on high school talent. We've recently started seeing some services rating the transfers, but I say...eff it, rate them all if they have eligibility remaining. You don't really know who's going or who's staying and their high school ratings may be inflated or deflated based on their college growth and productivity.

Doing this would:
1. Give a more accurate picture of the CURRENT talent on a roster without regard to what they were rated in High School.
2. Reward players that have excelled and demerit players that have not lived up to billing.
3. Give fans a better understanding of what's going on and why in the transfer portal of their sport of choice.
4. Keep the rating industry ahead of the game as it's being played.
5. Encourage potential NIL partners to pony up for key players that the school may be trying to recruit/retain.

There are a handful of sites that have efficiency ratings for offense, defense, and overall for every player on every team. People just use those.

Those types of things don't exist for high school recruits, so that's where recruiting sites fill the void of the unknown.
